​​For 30 years Hayden has been making music on his own terms and on his own schedule. Since his groundbreaking 1995 debut album, Everything I Long For, the Polaris Prize and JUNO nominee has produced, engineered and mixed most of his records at home. Hayden’s 9th full length album, Are We Good, was released in 2023 featuring contributions from Feist and The National’s Matt Berninger and Aaron Dessner. The album was JUNO nominated for Adult Alternative Album of the Year.
Alongside his wife Christie, Hayden is a co-founder of Dream Serenade, an annual benefit concert at Toronto’s Massey Hall for children with developmental and physical disabilities and their families established in 2014. This year’s 11 th Dream Serenade will take place on Saturday,October 25.
